Long time, No post

Hello everyone! I apologize for not updating my blog on the regular-but I have been busy exploring and experiencing all Japan has to offer! Now that I'm on Spring break, I have time to update everyone what I have done the last 4 months.

I am now at a new host family, that I moved to mid February  I have a host mom and dad, and a host sister who is my age and in the same grade. I love my new family, but miss my old ones as well. Luckily, they all live pretty close so I can always go back and visit.

Now, here in Gifu, the weather is starting to get warmer thankfully.  Spring break is on, and I have many plans with friends from school, other exchange students, my host family, and Rotary. I only have about 5 more months here, and then I can say I have lived my one year exchange in Japan, but for now, I have just trying to make the best of my last couple of months. I know it will go by fast, so I want to learn the most I can and try MORE new things! I don't look forward to the day when I will have to say goodbye and jump on a plane home, but I do look forward to sharing my experiences I had in Japan with my family and friends back home.

Some of things I have done these past couple of months that were fun were my first soccer game in Japan, experienced Japan's New Year's holiday,  tried on old style Kimono, I visited Nagoya's Fashion University, went to a fashion show, saw Snow Sculpture Festival in Hokkiado, and traveled to Kagawa prefecture just to eat their famous Udon noodles!
 I obviously took MANY photos to share, and I will try to upload them. My new host family has no internet so I have to go to a cafe to access any computer. I will try my best to blog more often- I'm thinking a couple of times a week!
